PRAWN CURRY
THIS IS MY FIRST RECIPE OF PRAWN CURRY
1 STEP:- Grind together the ingredients listed under (to grind) to a fine paste using1 tdsp water.
2 STEP:- Heat oil in a pan and addfinely sliced onions, chopped ginger, garlic and cook it till the onions become soft. add ground paste to this and fry for a few minutes, till the oil starts appering. add the sliced tomatoes and tamarind pulp to this and cook for 3 minuter. add coconut milk and enough salt to this. let it boil. add cleaned prawns and curry leaves. cook till the prawns till done and gravy is thick.
3 STEP:- serve hot with rice.
i used coconut oil for this recipe. you can adjust the qty of tamarind pulp to suit your taste. adding a cup of coconut milk gives you a thick garvy. if you are like us and need litres of garvy, i suggest you add at least half cup of coconut milk
